Project Runway Designer Bradon McDonald Designs UCS sweater for charity
If you've watched Project Runway over the last thirteen seasons you've, no doubt, seen your share of amazing artists at work. Which is why we've taken it upon ourselves to enlist a collection of our favorite Project Runway designers to aid us this holiday season by designing one-of-a-kind human and pet ugly Christmas sweaters in an attempt to raise money for two great charities, Leave No Paws Behind and The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
The first designer we'd like to spotlight is Bradon McDonald. Most will remember McDonald for his incredible designs on Season 12 of Project Runway. McDonald, a graduate of the Juilliard School, prior to designing, was a dancer for the Mark Morris Dance Group. Following is passion for design, McDonald left the MMDG and enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in 2010.
Bradon has designed for our UCS 2015 charity fundraiser a fun and very hideous human ugly Christmas sweater that features three hefty snowmen, some sparkled gift-wrapped boxes as well as collection of bells and ribbons with will, no doubt, have you jingling this holiday season as you walk into your next work party or holiday gathering.
As part of his design for the UCS charity fundraiser, we here at UCS sent Bradon a already-made red stock blank ugly Christmas sweater and asked Bradon to add to it what he wanted to make it truly one-of-a-kind. We can proudly said, without any hype, that this ugly Christmas Sweater is truly one of the ugliest and loudest sweaters we've ever seen come through the doors here at UglyChristmasSweater.com.
The auction for this sweater starts on Dec. 7th at 8am EST time here. Please follow along with the auction, and tell all of your friends about it via social media.
